The initiative by Finnanimation to start offering coaching for junior producers is due to more global animation market. "You have to look over your national broadcaster and their Scandinavian colleagues. It is very much needed to start looking both for partners and financiers especially in growing Asian countries", advices Liisa Vähäkylä, the managing director of Finnanimation, those new to animation producing. Finland is a wanted partner in European co-productions. "We are not only able to keep deadlines and stay in budget, but we are known as creative minds and developers."

In August our partners are Swedish-Finnish Cultural Institute Hanaholmen. The workshop has got funding from Nordic Culture Fund and Ministry of Culture and Education in Finland. Lecturers come from UK, Sweden, Denmark and India. The moderator of the event is Christophe Erbes.
