Cartoon Movie samler profesjonelle animasjonsprodusenter fra hele Europa og presenterer animerte langfilmprosjekter i ulike produksjonsstadier. Blant årets utvalgte prosjekter som skal presenteres er to norskproduserte langfilmer, samt en co-produksjon, i ulike stadier av produksjonsfasen.

The Monsters of Dunderly
The monster Bulder and his best friend Modika are training for the different sports in the upcoming Monster Ympics with Modika´s monsterball Turbo. While training alone Bulder looses Turbo, who gets caught by the dreaded Monster Patrol. Bulder wants to go to the humans to get Turbo back. But Modika is afraid of loosing Bulder too, and Bulder must promise not to go there. When a new, strange monster called Mons arrives in Dunderly, Bulder finds out that Mons is actually an expert on humans. Bulder decides to befriend Mons so he can help him kidnap a human being and arrange a swap between the human and Turbo.In his efforts he finds out that you might find a friend where you didn't expect.

The Sea Monster Who Couldn't Swim
The colorful sea monster Ruffen lives on an ocean island, in a community of sea monsters hiding from humans. But no one cares about Ruffen. To the others he is just the sea monster who can't swim. One day, when the sea monsters decide to send the one and only tough Tony to Loch Ness in Scotland on a very important quest, Ruffen is challenged to prove what he is made of. Encountering new friends and surprising enemies, Ruffen finds himself having to save his island from being discovered by humans, all by himself. But how can you save the day, if you can't even swim?
